Shallow Water Charters

Entry for March 14 and 15, 2008

Did a quick scouting trip on the 14th in the Cooper.  Hoping to relocate and pattern the Trout.  They are still holding on submerged ledges in 8-16 feet of water.  With the water temperature being 62 degrees (and rising), the bite is getting more aggressive.

On Saturday, I had a trip reschedule due to concerns about the weather (high winds particularly).  Decided to fish anyway.  Hit the flats looking for schools of Redfish.  They are still in residence and eating.  Managed to release 8 Reds and a Flounder.
